The Safety, Health and Environment National Authority (SHENA) has issued BND500 compound fines following inspections that found non-compliance with workplace first-aid requirements.

The offence was found following an inspection carried out at a construction worksite located on the Tungku Highway, Bandar Seri Begawan.

SHENA also issued BND500 compound fines for the same offence following an inspection carried out at a Construction Worksite located in Kampung Kiulap, Bandar Seri Begawan.

While, the enforcement action has been taken following an inspection conducted at a Construction Worksite located in Kampong Bukit Panggal, Mukim Keriam, Tutong. A compound fines BND500 was issued for failure to comply with Regulation 4, Provision of First Aid Kits under the Workplace Safety and Health (First Aid) Regulations. Following the inspection, the occupier has undertaken the necessary corrective measures to address the non-compliance identified during the inspection.
